what do you mean by curve base? I like the lamp a lot. you do need to bring the rings closer together so they are touching. think the way you have the frame out side of the lamp is genius.
I love this lamp. It looks like a pretty gem! I think the curved base looks better. It flows nicer with the shape of the shade oppose to the straight legs.
